WELCOME TO NRL ROUND 15
.
This round kicks off on Friday 21st June.
There's a resticted set of just four games to tip this coming weekend.
Everyone reading this is welcome to enter this weekly competition which runs throughout the season.
New  or occasional entrants are welcome to join us.
Whether you've taken part before or you fancy having a go this week for the first time you're guaranteed a warm welcome.
Entries are allowed each week up until the kick off of the first game in the round

ROUND 15 QUESTIONS:
*Poll Competition:
Our regular poll comp to look at a different aspect of the round each week
Which game will produce the lowest points total?

- that's the two teams' final scores added together
- enter in the poll itself at the top and put your answer in your posting.

Now the main event of the week:

*Match tipping Competition:
Name the 4 (that's FOUR) winning teams in NRL Round 15 2013

*Points Competition
How many points will be scored by all the teams added together in R15?
This is a competition in itself and will act as a tie breaker for the match tipping comp if necessary. This is used as the decider when necessary so do give it a go.

*Home Win Competition:
How many HOME wins will there be in NRL R15?
In rounds where the game is on the road and played at a neutral venue, the team named first in the fixture will be regarded as the home team for the purposes of this competition.

Fixtures:

Animated awards will be given for the winner(s) of each competition question.
Match tipping scores will be added together as the season progresses to produce a Tipsters' Ladder which is pinned to the top of the forum topic list page

The best of luck to everyone.
Enjoy your Rugby League! B)

And his team stands an excellent chance of overcoming the inscrutable BYE :pickeat:

ME ? I'm looking for a touch of 'toxic shock' due to Origin II

But not in the Purple Patch :P

Hmm - just running an eye over 'the BYE teams'  :haha:

Manly,(4th) - No change even with the two point gift

Cronulla,(6th) - Only get a lift with a Titans loss

(9th through to 14th) Everybody gets the two point shuffle but few benefits

Two points for not playing a game.

I couldn't resist making my usual comment on this.

Can't see how teams deserve two league points for not playing.

Logically I'd be taking Titans to win. They are playing good footy and they are at home, though they will be missing Nate Miles and Greg Bird. Storm on the other hand are a much changed round team missing their top names.

Loyalty wins out though ....

Anyone else here the choice words that James Graham gave to Roosters Dylan Napa after he was shoulder charged out of the game by the Roosters new boy?

James' pained words were picked up on the ref's microphone and were broad and very graphic.

Punishment fit the crime?

Graham unable to take any further part in the game. Napa stayed on and made some useful plays.

Just the Titans v Storm game up on the Gold Coast left to play in this round.

Two tipsters are currently leading the rest of us - RLWinger  and Barney, both on a score of 2 out of 3.

One of them will win the tipping comp this week as they have chosen different winners in the Monday match.

RLW has gone with Titans while Barney has chosen Storm.

Just an hour or so to kick off.

Here's to a great game.

Both teams have changes to their usual line ups due to Wednesday's Origin game, but Storm have a lot more changes than the home side.
