Barrow will be entertaining the Capper Family this week and yet again it promises to be a great day (weekend for the Barmy Army)

I think Fev will be too strong for Barrow and totally focussed after our defeat against Doncaster

Fev 52-14 Barrow

First Try - Sharp

M.O.M - Finn

Attendance - 1400

A lot of reputations at stake with this match,I would think for some players it could be last chance saloon,so hopefully the team have got their game heads on and come away with a good win.

After the Donny match, us Fev fans are getting a bit nervous so are predicting a tight game. Due to that, I predict we'll walk it, so that many people will be predicting a 50 or 60 point win the following week against Workington because we're back to being world-beaters. We'll then be brought back down to earth with a bump.

Why do I predict this? Because so far this season, we've been far more like the old Fev we all know and love. Consistently inconsistent.

Rovers have the advantage of being the "away" side, which strangely is often when they are at their best. The defence will be mean and focused, not like the Donny match, and Rovers to grind out a controlled victory in a relatively low scoring game.

Barrow 10, Rovers 18

MoM Lockwood.

Superb entertainment today from Fev -dont think we expected it to be that easy up there, must say that was by far Lamont Bryans best game in a fev shirt - him and bostock were the best forwards today, players falling off both like theyd smeared themselves in butter - both had no right to score either of their tries, but determination and skill got them there, also Vince Mellars was superb as well, his link up play with Sharp was magnificant especially in the second half and fully deserved his try, and lets not forget Will Sharp, who looked the proper winger we have been missing for a while - pace to burn and backed himself down the wing rather than come inside all the time, a well desrved Hat trick laid on by Mellars for most of it

Both Sharp and Mellars wouldnt look out of place in Fev shirts next season
