The more the merrier :)  :)

I should have an update on the meeting place by tomorrow...watch this space

Central Lodge is stumbling distance from the Turnbridge (across a dual carriageway, over a largish roundabout)

If anyone is planning on staying over and hasn't booked yet, there is also the Premier Inn at Aspley, which is the closest to the Turnbridge and has a nice pub next door, food etc

http://www.premierinn.com/en/hotel/HUDCEN/huddersfield-central

whoops, but it's full....ah well

Don't worry Mags, I don't have anything particularly discriminating (nor embarrassing to myself, I think Lisa has that one!)

Luckily for you if I did have it, I don't seem to now, lost in history - you can breathe a sign of relief now lol

Fair enough, lets just call it something that happened.

If it wasn't in November, I'd wear the kilt out all day!

Final arrangements for 2 November

England v Ireland at John Smiths stadium, Huddersfield

Turnbridge WMC

St Andrews Road

Huddersfield

HD1 6SB

Open from 11:00

You must sign in - mention you are with Lee & Maggie

There is limited free parking, with an adjacent pay car park

There is also a pay car park just 50 yards further along St Andrews Road, towards the stadium

Also The Aspley on the corner of St Andrews Rd and the ring road....almost next door to the Turnbridge...for anyone wanting food.

We are aiming to be there from 11:00 - and will stay there until we decide to make our way to the stadium for kick off - a 10 min leisurely walk - and will return there after the match.

Anyone who has been to the stadium before, will know that cars are stopped from leaving the actual stadium car parks until after the walking crowd have left the area....in other words, you can be back to the Turnbridge, and car parks mentioned earlier, than queueing to exit the stadium car parks...your choice

We are looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible - some people will only be at the ground as they are involved in the organising (Team13) or have treated themselves to corporate etc etc...we hope to see you somewhere around on the day.

It would be good to know numbers who intend to call in at the Turnbridge WMC - so please say so here

If you won't be able to make it, but will be at the match, please PM me and I'll try and co-ordinate a meet up spot there.

This thread has slowed down.

Once this post hits and people know I'll be there for the meet up the roll call will go stratospheric.

Boom!

Not sure what we're going to do Thursday night when there isn't a game on

My boss asked if I could swap to a late start and do and 11 - 7 next Monday....I'm predicting a lost Sunday so yes please  was my reply.

Others have shown interest but not got back to me....the list is endless and I apologise if I've missed anyone out...it's not intentional...but please ad your name

It's be lovely to meet some new people...well, maybe on here for ages, but never met you

some newbies from twitterverse as well, but they've all passed muster before anyone gets scared ;)

All more than welcome....I think people are doing their own thing, some staying over Fri and or Sat...and I'm sure there'll be several pubs visited...but as far as Sat and match day is concerned, Lee and I thought it best that we personally stick to one place then if others call in someone is there to sign them in.

the rest of you of course can do as you like...but please call in if you can

Would have loved to have come, but working all day.

Have a great time.

Unfortunately, I can't see it being a great game and think England will win by forty points. Hopefully, I'll be proved wrong.

Will be there, not sure when yet though, but would like to make it for pre-match drinks, or failing that post-match drinks (as long as there's drinks involved somewhere :)).
