PROMOTION TO PREMIER FORECASTS

Recommended Posts

Looking at the fixtures to see what games the top five teams have left and it looks like it could be a very close finish so just for fun because I know thereis still some way to go my forecast is:

                                                               1st    East Leeds             43pts

                                                               2nd   Hunslet Warriors    39pts

                                                               3rd    Wigan St Judes      37pts

                                                               3rd    Oulton                     37pts

I've put Wigan St. Judes above Oulton due to them having games which could be really high scorers for them

Remember it just for fun so give your opinions and lets see how you are at the end of the season

The current league table is :-   Its a 24 game season.

                               Played    Points

East Leeds                20           33

Wigan St Judes         20           33

Hunslet Warriors       19           27

Rochdale Mayfield    19           26

Milford Marlins          19           24

Oulton Raiders          19           23

My prediction is that the table will be the same at the end of the season. My team Rochdale Mayfield are on a roll and should win 4 of their remaining 5 games. They play Wigan St Judes away in their last game of the season. Hunslet Warriors only hard remaining game is at Milford Marlins. So Rochdale Mayfield or Hunslet Warriors have it all to play for. Come on the Field.

If East Leeds win on Saturday they have as good as won the League due to the superior points difference they have. Will this be the first time a team has gone up as champions in successive seasons or has it happened previously.

Big Doug it looks like your last forecast will be correct I cannot see the Warriors losing any of their last two games getting better as the season goes on.

Eccles could have cost you promotion with a victory at your place earlier in the season, but on the other hand, we could do you a massive favour on Saturday. We have beaten St. Judes away this season, and deserved it, but there is a long history between the clubs and its rare that either one of us does the double in a season. On paper Eccles have nothing to play for but the lads will want to win the last home game of the season. At this time of year a lot depends on who is available.

Should have got the cheque book out a bit earlier

if judges or warriors drop a point Mayfield will get promoted , I can't see it happening thou ,we will end the season winning 14 games in a row a slow start will cost us I think
