Good Performance

Well done the lads. You certainly set the stadium on fire with that first half performance (no pun intended).

Had a few giddy spells in the second half, but a good all round performance. Bossy is coming on in leaps and bounds this season.

Have to agree with that post great effort from 1 to 17 must admit I didn't think tonight would turn out like that It great to see players coming off the bench and getting the team to move up a gear Proud evening lets keep it up

Outstanding effort by all the players.

Two highly intense games in 4 days, both of which played in difficult conditions

Time for a rest, regroup and then Sheffield.

Congratulations to every player involved. Superb ccommitment, typified by Jack Bussey's tackle effort late in the game and getting battered for it.

Thats were it all goes wrong in this country and why we never beat the aussies .No rest needed we need the intense games every week to improve, it was probably the intense game against Batley and there easy run out against Haven that was a major factor in last nights result

Looks like we may have 5 relatively easy matches before we play Sheffield, assuming next week's match is postponed, so I hope you are wrong!

We've just had 2 intense games on 4 days played in very hot conditions by part time players.

There's no way they should need motivating to play Sheffield but our players need to take advantage of any recuperation time possible

It's Sheffield we need to beat, not Aussie that's if the game is still played next week.

yes lets have easy games every week be much better for the players, we dont have to beat the aussies but the principles are the same

Obviously, my point wasn't made clear as I also believe in tense games are good for our players.

However, exhaustion brought about in very hot conditions for part time players with such a short turn around is clearly not a positive option.

Sadly and tragically, we've seenthe worst case scenario of that last weekend In the Brecon Beacons.!
