if we are to go up we can't play at whitebank in its current state....thats a fact some don't like to hear

add a terrace & stand from the pics above and that'll be enough for us to stay at whitebank & play in the championship

i cant see anything happening at whitebank.

i reckon we'll either be back at boundary park or at salfords ground.

failing that we'll be back on the road to spotland

Salford never, to far, to problematic travelling for fans, can't see that.

Spotland again no, fixtures would need  rigging to avoid clashes with Hornets.

Boundry Park favourite but will they have us again?

But we  have to wait and see people are already assuming we are or will be promoted, its not happened yet??

Has there ever been any likelihood of sharing with Curzon Ashton FC? Less than three miles from Whitebank, right by the M60 and an ideal size/quality for Championship games.

It's £80k to flatten the pitch.

When we were looking at which SL club to partner one of them asked us to flatten the pitch as part of the partnership and that was the price quoted

Crikey, we'll have to call him RobthemegarichGardener.

Feeling that was a quote to put them off doing the work....

Regarding the Don Valley Stadium we will probably end up with the eight lane running track and the Long Jump pit

I will resist the temptation to say you can go for a running jump.

On a more serious note it is sad to see such a wonderful stadium bite the dust. It might not be the most suited to Rugby but it will be a loss to the sporting world.

thought id dig this out rather than start a new thread...

scunthorpe united are in the process of seeking planning permission for a new stadium, there current stadium was only built in 1988 and could be taken down and rebulit, much like featherstone have done with a old stands from Scarborough ...
