CALLING ALL KNIGHTS FANS OFF TO HALIFAX

There have been a few comments recently about fans not being together at away games, however we want an 'army' at away games again so that is why we'd like all Knights fans to be on the terrace, behind the sticks just slightly to the right (so we don't invade Halifax fans' space). See the photo below for the view

If you'd rather sit down/be somewhere else that is fine but we want to see as many knights fans as possible in this location.

So why not cheer the Knights on in this very important match this Sunday?

Can't get a plane, train or auto-mobile to Halifax? Why not go on the supporters bus for just £15! Yes £15! That's £7.50 there and £7.50 back. See 'Bus To Halifax' Thread for details.

Can I ask why and who chose behind the posts?

The lads just trying to drum up a bit of support mate, no harm in that.

In fact, it should be actively encouraged!

Not knocking him for it, good on him. Just saying behind the posts is a terrible viewing position and I don't understand why we wouldn't stand along the sidelines like we do at home. You wouldn't watch a rugby/football match on tv with the cameras behind the posts would you?

1) It's normally cheaper on the terrace.

2) Easier for people to get together (no reserved seats in the way)

3) You can make more noise on the terrace.

Like I said, you don't have to stand here if you don't want. It was an idea to get us all together again.

I watch every game at Headingley from behind the sticks. Its not that bad to be fair.

Not necessarily a fan of the Rhinos themselves, but as I live just a 5 minute wheel away from Headingley stadium, I feel it would be rude not to go and watch some good Rugby League when its right on my doorstep!

Only when it doesn't interfere with my York City Knights or Leeds Akkies commitments though.

I can't stand sitting...

No 'older people' with us Sunday so a slight possibility us 2 might go behind the sticks,

might change our luck, only problem is when we win we'll have to do it every week....

Bigger picture - this worries me - Leeds Rhinos hooker Paul McShane has been dual registered with

Hunslet Hawks with immediate effect & playing Sunday

Wonder who Swinton will suddenly have in their side when we go there...

Both Leeds and Warrington will be desperate to ensure that neither Hunslet nor Swinton respectively are relegated. If that happens, there'll be nowhere to send their players that's at a high enough standard to make it worthwhile. As a previous poster has mentioned, expect a good few 'ringers' to be in their sides over the next few weeks.
