I don't think I could actually be more confused.

Thank god it's a retail store. When I saw the Maplin link I thought Featherstone were planning on bringing back 'Hi-de-Hi' to try and win over the popular vote.

Thank gawd for that, I too was confused as I thought it was more good news for that other "Rervers".

Complete non story again from Featherstone. I'm not alone in being worried about their involvement with a firm that specialises in aggressive tax avoidance, one which is already said to have failed to cough up promised funds to a number of sports clubs. I'm sure that I'm not alone in being thoroughly underwhelmed in hearing that one on their employees has been appointed technical director, not that I have any clue why a technical director is needed (no doubt VERY part time).

Still, it's better than yet another press release about how progress is taking shape re-assembling a football stand.

Hmmm

Not sure what to make of this

All I can see is about 5 paragraphs of management speak that essentially say nothing.

My only reservation really is the distinct whiff of bovine poop as I was reading it.

I hope MC knows what he's doing

Well I suppose that's broadly fair comment :-)

Although I believe there is something in what I put which will resonate with a few.

So in summary I think it's great that an old man like Terry is embracing new technology and looking to extend the battery life of his device. I have no doubt that this sophistication that he has aquired is as a result of living in a sophisticated city.

I bet big fellas like these don't come cheap,

Whilst they are probably essential to a team in  SL or with SL aspirations, they have probably just

become the highest earners at the club and will never take to the pitch.

Does the salary cap include the wages of backroom staff too?

I doubt they'll be taking a wage, an unless they register as players then they won't impact the capper's cap.

The thing is its no use aiming to get in S/L improving the ground and facilities and not getting things in place and people to run the club professionally that will give us a chance

I don't no about the salary cap I would think not though but I could be wrong

Must learn to check the links I post in future. Anyway the portable power bank is a wonderful addition to my already extensive range of hi tech equipment. I'm also over the moon for my RL club too, going forward at a pace while certain others flounder from one financial crisis to another. Mark Campbell is a smart operator, no worries on that score

Thanks,

Looking good, the roofs at Trinity have made a massive difference so no doubt this will enhance the atmosphere at POR.
