I hope I'm not being a prophet of doom and I don't know how much HMRC are owed but some 50 years after being the best team in the Rugby League then I am saddened to say that tomorrow could be our last ever match! I hope I am proved wrong!

There was a similar scenario last season I think and the monies were paid in advance of the hearing so hopefully the matter will have been dealt with

  1. Today was an excellent result!!!

Tomorrow is a another battle!!!

If we don't win tomorrow then there might not be another victory ever!!!

You as an accountant Marshy1 should know this better than most!!!

And finally if you don't think that supporters are disheartened over the last 20+ years then you are living in cloud cuckoo land!!!

Perhaps but I will support the club I have watched for 42 years so long as they take to the pitch.

If you don't pay your taxes that are owed then you can be wound up Loyalion!

If you are asking questions about who is being strangely quiet then I suggest you direct them to the club or the board of directors!

But maybe we will all know more in the next few days! In April 1992 the ground was sold from under our feet and I don't want to see the same happen to the club!

I suspect Salford dug deep and paid it all off ;-)

Well if they paid us what we gave them there shouldn't be a problem!

And it also rained this afternoon! I got soaked on both occasions.

I bet the special postmans cotton wool glove which you use to knock silently on people's doors a micro second before slipping the red note through and running thus denying the recipient their long awaited goods is an absolute nightmare in damp weather. ..

this is a complete myth! Leaving a card without attempting delivery entails far more work on returning to the delivery office as e any item not delivered has to be logged In!

Just read a thread almost twelve months to date when exactly the same subject was being discussed

Many unpleasant statements were made.

It turned out the HMRC petition was advertised even though the debt had been settled prior to the date.

So maybe we have just paid the bill late again

Surely we'd know different by now.

Here's a novel idea, maybe the club should tell us what's going on instead of leaving us in the dark.
