WELCOME TO NRL ROUND 21
.
This round kicks off on Friday 2nd August.
There's a full set of eight games to tip this coming weekend. We'll have 8 games a week now from here until Round 26
Everyone reading this is welcome to enter this weekly competition which runs throughout the season.
New  or occasional entrants are welcome to join us.
Whether you've taken part before or you fancy having a go this week for the first time you're guaranteed a warm welcome.
Entries are allowed each week up until the kick off of the first game in the round

ROUND 21 QUESTIONS:
*Poll Competition:
Our regular poll comp looks at a different aspect each week.
Which game will produce the highest number of tries scored?
- that's the number of tries scored by both teams added together
- enter in the poll itself at the top and put your answer in your posting.

Now the main event of the week:

*Match tipping Competition:
Name the 8 (that's EIGHT) winning teams in NRL Round 21 2013

*Points Competition
How many points will be scored by all the teams added together in R21?
This is a competition in itself and will act as a tie breaker for the match tipping comp if necessary. This is used as the decider when necessary so do give it a go.

*Home Win Competition:
How many HOME wins will there be in NRL R21?
In rounds where the game is on the road and played at a neutral venue, the team named first in the fixture will be regarded as the home team for the purposes of this competition.

Fixtures:
NRLR212013_zpse26c3fcc.jpg

Animated awards will be given for the winner(s) of each competition question.
Match tipping scores are being added together as the season is progressing to produce a Tipsters' Ladder which is pinned to the top of the forum topic list page

The best of luck to everyone this week.
Enjoy your Rugby League! B)

Keeping me on my toes there chaps.

I guess that's a case of reverse psychology in the Storm game BR.

I think it's the first time you've tipped against them.

Let's hope you're wrong!  :resent:

HMM ? Not sure if it's reverse psych or a touch of despondency over continued 'shooting self in foot' from the team ?

Almost put my tips in transit abbrev - but thought 'best not confuse'

That's a weird post RF. It has stretched itself out.

I'll just tidy it up if that's OK to remove the repeat and space holding 'pol' at the end

Ask BR

You've been a bit stingy with your points this week KT - is this your Yorkshire roots kicking in following Yorkshire Day yesterday? :buba:

With just the Monday game to play our top  score so far is 5/7 shared by a fair number of us.

Somebody will score 6 as RLW is among this group and he has tipped Dragons tomorrow while the rest have gone for the Doggies.

As for the points total - 318  have been accumulated already.

Just to reiterate - when there is a draw we take the positive view and say neither team lost rather than neither team won, so we do call the draw a correct tip.

We don't call the draw a home or away win though because it just isn't either.

So far then we have just two home wins in R21 to date.

On a week when we are looking for tries there have been plenty of them, but not necessarily where we expected them to cluster!
