Look it up

The driver died seven years later of cancer.

I know this injuries/or the trauma of the crime forced him off work and affected the rest of his life.

He was a victim of crime.

I find the veneration of criminals in this case distasteful.

But he didn't die of his injuries or anything like it.

The active life of Jack Mills was terminated in 1963, leukemia finished him off in 1970.

The roadsigns that says "Historic Coventry"

That sign on the A1 that says "Earth Centre". I've checked the maps and they're way off. :P

I think the sign refers to the centre of the surface of the earth, rather than the actual centre of the globe.

A company in Huddersfield used to sponsor the Kirklees Council Street Map book. Their advert on the back page had a geographic globe tilted so that Huddersfield was as at  the centre of the world.

Typical of Yorkshire folk, demonstrating their sense of self importance. ;)

I did't realise that the flat earthers of Lancashire had embraced the concept of the eath being a globe.

Obviously, we all know that Yorkshire isn't at the centre of the world; that was just a bit of a joke for the advert.

It is, of course, at the centre of the universe.

;)
