On TV in UK this weekend:

Standout games for me: Storm v Rabbitohs. A few weeks ago many would have regarded this as a game Bunnies would be favourites to win. They have stumbled themselves recently and Storm have turned their form round. Rabbitohs face Storm without Inglis and Sutton so will be pinning their hopes on their big men. A settled Storm at home in Melbourne will be keen to show they are a force to be reckoned with in the finals to come.

Sea Eagles v Warriors will be a massive clash. Manly are on a run of wins but haven't been tested with a top eight team recently. Warriors were doing so well in the second half of the season until Sharks hlted their progress last week. There's some terrific players on both sides who could win the game for either team. I'll go with Manly at home, but it could be a close call ... or maybe not!

Not long now to the kick off in the Storm v Souths game at AAMI Park, Melbourne. Bourbon Rat will be on his way to that one now.

I'll be looking out for you BR on the TV coverage.

Enjoy the game.

These commentators eh?

Don't get me wrong I enjoy the all round banter of the Channel Nine commentary.

Talk about bigging up Souths though.

They came to the repeated conclusion that the score in the Storm v Rabbitohs game didn't matter. it was all about the performance and that with Inglis and Sutton back for the finals they would be fine.

Actually it was a good game where Bunnies didn't really capitalise on Storm's mistakes as they kept playing to their advantage - their big men. I thought Isaac Luke had a great game and it was good to see another young talent on show in Luke Keary.

Storm struggled to match the Bunnies big men in the second half but got their wind back after the unfortunate injury to Dylan Farrell.

They punished Souths by passing the ball out wide and then finishing clinically. The final passes were killers.

That Jordan McLean is a big lad and a good prospect too.

Going to watch the Eels at home against the Tigers - the delayed broadcast here.

Eels v Tigers may have been an underwhelming prospect for some.

It proved to be a close fought, exciting encounter.

Jarryd Hayne returned after injury and although one bloke doesn't win a match he did make a huge difference to the Parra outfit as a threat to the opposition who needed to mark him closely.

He produced some great moves and telling passes. Tigers were in it to win it, but in a close encounter they just lost out.

Well done Raiders - you didn't win, but you did come close. Roosters had to work hard for that one which takes them clear at the top of the ladder.

Blake Ferguson put in a standout performance and young Anthony Milford showed why Raiders want to keep him at the club.

Couple of nasty injuries in the game to Boyd Cordner (ankle) and Terry Campese (eye).

Sharks v Knight game starting now.

Panthers season appears to have petered out. The Cowboys seem to have the good beating of them. They outplayed Penrith comprehensively today.

Without Luke Walsh on the field mid second half onwards they looked directionless.

Had ta laugh at the tunnel vision of Souths fans at AAMI Pk yelling that 'Billy Slater is a dirty grub',whilst their 'star prop' was engaged in playing "The Nutcracker Suite"

Looks like he'll get a couple of weeks rest for his performance

The cheeky bloke in my head................................................

Wonders if he was ever coached by Nobby

Dogs v Titan. Close game with Titans leading at half time.

Too much whistle in the game. Dogs denied try by video ref that looked like a good try on review ???

Doggies looking heavy footed on an off night. Still time yet but Titans look most composed and dangerous.

Titans try. They have played the better game. Gordon scored it off an offload. Bulldogs' beef just hasn't worked. Titans more mobile and composed. First win for Gold Coast in Sydney.

Final Score: Bulldogs 16-26 Titans
