It's usually not wise to do criminal things to a sport's club where the players tend to be larger, fitter and tougher than other team sports...

The most worrying thing about it is that the fire was in the upstairs area where all the famous shirts and memorabilia are on display which had just been refurbished. I was in there only last month and there were shirts (including a couple of RL shirts worn by ex Maesteg players on international duty and clubs IIRC) in there.

The most worrying thin about fires is surely thy somebody could have been killed. Either a member of the public or from the emergency services. In the scheme of things shirts are pretty irrelevant.

Especially in a small town where secrets don't remain secret for very long.

This is exactly the sort of crime where the death penalty might be a deterrent.

Been up there today. Most if not all the memorabilia has been lost from talking to one of the club committee. The club was also in talks to assist with some RL developments down here which will almost certainly not go ahead now at the venue. ########

Well a bunch of bearded lentil munching, sandal wearing Guardian readers are hardly going to be any use are they? :P
