My brown hair went grey years ago. Now my eyebrows have started to join the club.

Is it acceptable?

I have been invaded by grey hair in the last year or two and am seriously thinking of breaking out the Grecian 2000 or whatever.

My other half reckons it looks ok on men but it just makes me feel old. So.....is it allowable?

I first noticed a rogue grey hair when I was 15 (honest).

I dyed my rapidly greying hair when I was in the RN in the late 80's - often getting very nearly in trouble for my hair not matching my ID card.

Gave up with dying in the mid-nineties.

Now probably 80% grey and gone past the point where I could dye it again without anyone noticing.

I still hate it but have accepted it.

I'm 44.

Sounds like an AA confession. It's enough to make me break out the 'Just For Men'.

Well I never did it but am reconsidering it. Can't be doing with getting it cut all the time in order to get rid of it - and even that is probably more expensive.

Not much use asking the old fogeys on here though.

Do it.  It may go some way to distracting people from your odd views.

I think we would all benefit from Johnoco posting a couple of before and after photos.

Do you have an "after" photo so we can compare it with the, admittedly rather cute, "before" one you have as your profile pic?

All off

There's only one thing worse than dyeing your hair and that's wearing a syrup

Edit: Paul McCartney does it. See what I'm saying?

Now you are just being mean.

My Mam went light brown and it suited her. Mind you, she was about sixty at the time.

As mentioned previously on this thread I've dyed my hair for years. It started in my goth phase throughout my teenage years and twenties, now it is to hide the grey. As soon as wrinkles start appearing I plan to go old gracefully and go for the silver fox distinguished look. The Ronnie Wood isn't a good look on anyone.
