Ins and Outs for next season

Who would you sign and who would you release?

Sign

Aizue, Bentley, Brown, Craven, Gallagher, Goulding, Hepworth, Lillycrop, Morton, Nash, O'brien (but I think he's in the Bulls plans for next season) Pryce, Spicer, Walshaw and Wright.

Also if the rumours are true we have Haggerty, Hemingway, and Thackeray.

Would be good to sign another centre, winger a nasty prop (someone like Gary Cox or Gary Rose)

Release

Akaidere, Beckett, Buchanan, Hale, Hyde, Schofield, Scott, Tebb, Tonks and Watkinson

I see why people would release Austin but if he gets back fit we have a solid wingman

And he signed up for two years last year. I hear that he going to be involved more in coaching next year.

O'Brien has a contract with the Bulls for next year but is interested in playing for us if DR is still in operation.

Goulding is back with Wakefield where Agar rates him as one for the future - I think another loan deal is unlikely.

Every time we get a good prop Fev come along and pinch him.

Keith Mason would be a quality signing but I very much doubt that we could afford him :(

Heard a rumour about Richard Moore the prop who was/is at Leeds.

I'm sure I heard that earlier on this year

He can throw a punch, but is he any good?

I thought Fev fancied him? Would be a catch for the rams, as I have yet to be worried by the signings and rumours coming from the rams todate, especially after the big build-up from certain people!

Thought earlier on we were rumoured to have signed prop Anthony Thackeray for next season - big enough and nasty enough.

He's a half back. Jamie's the prop you're thinking of.

I believe that you're barking up the wrong 'Thackeray', BSJ.

Yep, it's Anthony of that ilk, not Jamie.

Duff sources - tcchh!

The scout of the club is glen. He watches local amatuer teams and as given afew trials to afew players from likes of Dewsbury Celtic. I'd imagine glen will watch the World Cup so may look at afew players.

The Haggerty that we have signed isn't the goal-kicker from Barrow but the one who has been playing at Oldham this season.

Gallagher has signed but Craven hasn't as yet - he's happy with the deal but his agent is looking for a better offer from elsewhere. Also KP has accepted the offer made to him and has handed it on to his agent.

We should have an interesting squad by the end of the year.

Onwards and upwards!

I thought on here someone confirmed Craven had re-signed?

We don't want to loose talented players like him!

Yes, that was me; I was wrong. He had accepted the contract being offered but his agent hasn't!

How do you know about haggerty? And why we signed the one who barrow clearly don't rate?

I think the one we're signing is Matthew Haggerty, a centre, who was finding the traveling to Barrow for training to be too much, hence his loan deal at Oldham. His brother is Kurt Haggerty who is still contracted to Barrow, I believe, and would command too much money, sadly.

His a prop marra played for haven last season big lump but plays below his weight goes to ground way to easy i think the barrow fans would confirm that aswell
