Dom played youth rugby at Hindley, but he played in the ncl for St.Pats, he actually played for Pats in the challenge cup a couple of years back, before he signed for Wigan.

He played in the Yorkshire League, like you Jim

Didn't know that Dean, who did he play for?

Is Ben Crooks playing?

He's in the nineteen. With Yeaman out it wouldn't be a surprise to see Crooks in the starting line up.

I sometimes wonder whether the RFL actually grasps the fact that without a thriving amateur rugby league set up there wouldn't be a Super League and great days out like the RFL Cup Final, if it wasn't for the fantastic work our amateur clubs put in to help talented players fulfil their dreams.   Let's hope it's a great game, and may the best team win!  ;)

Good to see Deano, we've only ever had three locals play in a challenge cup final but produced more than half of the Doncaster under 11's who played there in a curtain raiser, the same lads played before the Wigan v Warrington game in Milwaukee as well.

Ahem...   #tommytopper

We've also got about 9 playing in the Year 7 curtain raiser tomorrow for  against RU playing school RGS High Wycombe, which has produced many RU players.

e.g England capt Matt Dawson.

Should be a good contest

Didn't mean it to sound that way Deano, I know our little village could never even dream of producing the amount of players as Castleford.
