London Skolars vs North Wales Crusaders

14 posts in this topic

Watching on prem sports Skolars by far better side in first half - 3 vidoe calls for tries gone against Skolars - commentators at a loss why the first was not allowed then touch judge appears to miss blatant fwd in move leading up to Brennan's try again commentators lost for words. Jermaine Wray to come back on - moves Skolars around the park - lets see!!!!!!!!!

Full Time

Skolars 14 Crusaders 20

The officals will be joining the Crusaders in the showers for a hearty rendition of Land of my Fathers with some of their decisions.Skolars can not be under estimated in a one off situation.

D1029, sooner or later decisions had to go the Crusaders way, lets face it they have gone against them for most of the season.

So we'll take them when they come and moan when they don't, but I'm sure all teams have spells where it feels like nothing is going their way.

What a load of cr-p decisions going their way they should have been down to 12 men. If decisions hadn't been going their way they would not be where they are now.

They have had far less 'iffy' decisions going their way than against them, but not to much moaning and fuss is made because they usually go on and win! They are where they are now by playing the best rugby in the division, just take a look around various forums at what other teams supporters say (its not just rose coloured glasses on my behalf!)

And come Sunday hopefully the NWC will gain automatic promotion by winning in style. Best wishes for the play-offs should that be the case, because rather than slag your team off (if it is Oldham), I'd say they were the best opposition we had all season.

Think it's fair to say we finished off a lot better than we started. In fact I would dare to say that we finished the league season as the top performing team . No losses and one draw in how many games? Oh and just losing to crusaders by a missed conversion in the last seconds of the match . Hopefully we can go on and gain promotion , given our performance this year anything other would be a travesty. We've already experienced 4 travesties, don't think I can handle another.

You're not far off there Art. We flew out of the blocks and it took a few games for you to get going. There's very little between the two teams. Hopefully we'll get the point we need this sunday and get promotion. Why not come down and join us, it should be a great afternoon. Either way good luck in the play offs, you deserve it.

????????? Check the league table

Granted AoHF, Oldham finished off well but with one game left for the NWC  only after Sunday will it be decide who finished as the top performing team. Fingers crossed it will be Crusaders but you never know until that final hooter, so not quite counting the chickens quite yet  ;) .
