Lancashire's Cup dominance?

41 posts in this topic

I am hoping that the Challenge Cup will return to its modern day home in CHESHIRE next year.

It all comes in Cycles, although some Cycles take longer than other's .I mean 1954 seems an awful long time ago now doesn't it?

I view it that Lancashire, are to the counties like Aus are to the world.

They feel so crushingly insecure that they need to constantly prove themselves through sport

Its a bit uncouth really, but what can you expect.

Pedantry is the last bastion of a scoundrel Franksy. You'd be better off working out if your lot are Lancastrians or not.

What do you base your opinions on?

Maybe Australians enjoy Sport and don't mind trying to win.

Aussies crushingly insecure?

Lancastrians are just more inventive with there sub county names.  We do not expect creativity from ~Yorkshire folks.  Just your simple North/West/South etc. Although the folk of Humberside decided not just to settle with East.
