World Cup tickets; booked!

Flights; booked!

Accommodation; ######!

Help required for an old forum member if you please... i'm looking for 1 night for 3 people in Cardiff for the opener. I've just had a look and it's not looking good.

I vaguely remember staying in a pub recommended by Maurader last time i was in Cardiff ('ull in Challenge Cup).

Cheers

Ben

Ben,

Try the Sky Plaza at Cardiff Airport. I managed to get a load of rooms for about £32 each. The Holiday Inn still had rooms available at the Airport too as did a couple of locations in Barry; 20-25mins away via train.

YHA - no availability

Camping - Pah, tried that 1 millennium magic, ended up completely forgetting the name of it, trying to walk back at 2am down a road i recognised only to be dragged into a club by some Wigan fans and then staying at some Cardiff student's gaff.

Too old now... i think.

Try the airport! It is 25mins on the train into the city centre and not silly money in a taxi to get back. I used to live and work another 10mins down the road; excellent location and service.

New in. Is basic b and b but right on the a48 so easy to get to Cardiff.

Court Colman is very grand but about 3 miles out of Bridgend in middle of nowhere - award winning curry restaurant there though.

This place is supposed to be very good ... some friends always used it for Millennium Magic .... and has rooms available.

Rough and ready in the middle of Bridgend. When I went past the other week one of the clientele - Polish - was making anti semitic remarks to her friend across the street. It's gone downhill over the last 18 months.
