Yes This is entirely down to whoever the commercial manager is, he must do a hell of a lot of unseen graft. Well done whoever you are.

To be fair a big away following helped to swell the crowd to this magnificent figure. Hope the Tinsley Char-a- Banc made it back down the M1 safely to Dar Dar land.

was indeed, even seemed to be a fair few from Sheffield

Nah there was a few neutrals hiding in there with them myself included. Good game that could have gone either way until Fev cut lose.

He is called Paul Taylor. A cracking lad, Fev thro and thro. He is the son of Ricardo Taylor of FRISA fame who helped with support and advice getting BISSA off the ground.. I am a Bulldog and have to say big wraps Fev for your consistency over the last few years, well done to all of you.

Colin Bottomley BISSA.

Why that figure it doesn't make any difference now

There is a coincidence with the 2500 figure it also happens to be Sheffield's accumulative attendance figure for the season.

Don't know All I do know is that crowds are improving year on year the community team worked very hard over the last 2 weeks to get this crowd up and it worked. Just think what it could have been if Sheffield had a good following

Yes it did. The trick is to get them back next week.

I remember us getting summat like 7000* to Don Valley to watch us play Carlisle in 1992.  Great game, 6-14 down at half time, Daryl sent off, came back to win 32-14.

Guess what - back to 1400* the following week.

*I'm not big on attendances and I can't be bothered to look it up, but it was summat like that anyway.

Even 7000 isn't owt special with a population over half a million

Griff,

I make the totals for the year at the moment as follows:

Team              #   Sum      Average

Featherstone  13   32442   2495.54

Halifax           12   20727   1727.25

Leigh             12   19031   1585.92

Sheffield         13   13152   1011.69

Barrow           12   12053   1004.42

Dewsbury       13   11897   915.15

Keighley         13   10540   810.77

Workington     13   10398   799.85

Whitehaven     12   9481    790.08

Batley            13   9985    768.08

York               12   8815    734.58

Doncaster       12   8405    700.42

Swinton          13   8842    680.15

Hunslet          12   6313    526.08

So as far as I can see Sheffield are far from the worst supported team in our league.

PS excellent support from Sheffield on Wednesday night I would have thought that there was around 200 from Sheffield, which may have includded some neutrals, but excellent all the same. Not many teams have brought more to Fev this year.
