Dual-Reg

Think it ended months ago. As a club, I think the Knigths are best out of this DR farce. Season long loans would be ok

Todays paper - we have officially ended our link with Hull FC 9 months into the 3 year deal,

understand written notice was given a few weeks back so no wonder we got no players when we

needed them

JG has not ruled out dual-reg for 2014 - personally reckon theres a more 'logical' link up

if you think about it.....

Hull KR?

No

Think along the lines of the supposed plan was to help develop young

players - under 20's etc - at Super League clubs

Clue 1: Their first is in CAT but not in DOG.

Clue 2: What would you get if you crossed a medieval fortress with a car company?

Impressed with that Simon

Another thought which for me just totally sums up our season.

Tom Lineham comes here, gives 110%, gets injured & misses the cup final,

Shaul (and Crookes for that matter) come here, don't give a sh*t, Peter Gentle rewards them by

picking them for SL & they get to play in a cup final

Dual reg has worked really well at Batley this season. We have three players who have played consistently throughout the campaign and even turn up to games when they're unavailable to play to support their team-mates. Why, on earth, did things go so badly at York?

According to the "people in the know", it was Hulls cup run :D

Undoubtedly, some players estimate their talents as being way beyond the reality, but do you really think that virtually all the players you had from Hull (bar Briscoe and Hadley) were 'Big Time Charlie's)? Seems unlikely.

If you'd seen how they'd played you'd agree with us. Shaul, Kent, Crookes and Nicklas all thought they were too good to be here so either put in an embarrassing amount of effort or refused to play if they were to start on the bench.

But true

Possibly, however its interesting that only York seem to have suffered from dual registration players' 'lack of effort'. Despite the issues surrounding dual reg, I don't know any fans from other clubs who have so seriously doubted the commitment of the guys who joined them on a temporary basis.

No need for you to worry about it, it's finished, time to move on
