Big Mal in the centres over Renouf for me. I'm sure most will agree...

Mal's a South Sea Islander, from Tanna Island. Not sure if Mal is a Prince Philip worshipper, though.

Which century is this then?

The 100 years between 1908, when the first Indigenous player made his debut and 2008, perhaps.

Mal Meninga is not from Tanna, his family heritage was from there.

Tanna is an Island in the Vanuatu group of Islands.

I have been to Vanautu many times, it is a great place with fantastic people.

Correct; he was born in Australia. Bundaberg, I think.

Yes, that is right.

Bundaberg, his Father was from Tanna, his mother was Australian born from Scottish heritage.

Still doesn't explain the strange likeness to Pete Sampras. :P

Surprised Sam Backo is in there. He was a one season wonder.

To be fair he had two years 1988-89

He was Prop of the year in 1988 and represented Qld and Aus in both of those series.

He scored a try in three consecutive games against Great Britain in 1988, that would have to be close to a record for a Prop.
