NRL.com have worked out how the groups will finish and projected right the way through to an Australia v New Zealand final.

The predictions are so sure footed you'd think there was hardly any need to actually play the games!

I guess there'll be a few surprises on the way. All the same given the history and general form of things together with England's shock last weekend then their thoughts look sound.

Given how unpredictable this game can be though fans of other countries will still be hoping they have been underestimated and will throw a big spanner in the works.

Not a bad start for me!! Didn't really believe England would win but I didn't want to tip against my own Country. :girlsigh:

And today's tips are: France and NZ. :)

England could do with a specialist scrum half.

We can only look enviously at Australia who can have top class specialists like Daly Cherry Evans to use as required and strength in depth generally.

I'm looking forward to seeing the NZ game. They have a very talented line up who haven't had enough media coverage here as far as I can see, may be wrong.

It's turning out to be a great World Cup. The crowds have been great not just in numbers but in involvement and support.

The Fiji Ireland game last night at Rochdale was a pleasure to watch with a great atmosphere.

Well done all involved.
