What did you think of Gillan's Liberace jacket during Hush? I was going to do all their UK shows, but I didn't make it to Glasgow yesterday. Wilko Johnson's refusal to die as promptly as the doctors said meant I was back in London to see him instead.

None of the above, his name is Peter Howard and he played for Ireland against the USA and Russia at loose forward, he was a Siddal player at the time.

It was at a venue called Brooklands. He reckoned they were pretty good. Had a couple of original members of SLF in the band.

Yeah it's Jim Reilly and Henry Clunie out of the original SLF. I didn't know they were playing though :unsure:

They've got a couple of gigs supporting 999 in Stockton and Gateshead next weekend.

there is far more opportunity for people to hear and play live music than there has been for a long time

Tomorrow Sunday 1st November we're on at the Kit Kat club @ Lindley WMC, Brian Street, Lindley, Hudds. 4pm onwards

 

Tonight we're on at Siddal RL but its a private do, their presentation night.
