I think the correct poll would be:

What's more likely to happen:

1. The forum will come up in its new format first time on time

2. The forum will start to work at some point Saturday

3. The forum will start to work on Sunday

4. It'll be up in time for the World Cup, won't it?

5. John will resign after destroying the server with a sledgehammer

6. John will retire to a monastery promising never to look at the internet ever again

7. John uses his tracking tools to find the first poster that says "don't like it" and he makes the headlines on the national news.

My wish is that it goes down at the weekend, and John misses Dr Who as a result.

Never gonna happen. Doctor Who isn't on again till Sat 23rd November, its 50th anniversary no less, mark it in your diary (I'm sure you already have   ).

I will miss the actual broadcast that day though (TiVo box had better work or there will be blood) as I'll be at Wembley for the RLWC semi finals.

Oh God. I'll have to do some proper work!!

Still, I'll probably no longer need to still be at it at midnight.

;)

I didn't realise that. Anyway I hope I all goes swiftly and without bumps so that you don't miss any other kids shows like Charlie and Lola.

Surely the questions should have been:

How long after the upgrade will it be before it crashes?

1hr

2hrs

4hrs

8hrs

12hrs

1day

Never as the new software is super duper unbreakable.

I wonder when the first time someone, maybe Martyn, will say "oh come on, it's just a simple forum, how complex can it be?!"

Are we going to have a party and trash this forum like we did the old one?

I don't think it'll make any difference how long it takes, as like last time, those of us with older OS than John, nearly everyone then, will lose some services.

I still can't use the tool bar on the posting box. I have to rely on knowing what means before I can use the end code.

Monday will be even worse, you will be lucky enough to logon. Their may be just John & CKN on here

These days it will probably more of a couple of sherries and to tut tut about this new fangled twitter. Not like in the old days when the Internet was newfangled itself.

No, but the BBC did their scheduling shortly after the RFL did the announcement of the dates for the semis.

Is this the new forum that I was sent a new password for, that I didn't have to use?

I thought the site WASN'T run by the RFL.
