Tickets are only £5.

On 30 October at Broughton Park FC, Manchester, Head Coach and master tactician Tim Sheens together with Head Conditioner Alex Corvo will give a unique view into what it takes to prepare a team for a World Cup.

This is a great opportunity for any sports coach who wants to gain knowledge into what it takes to motivate elite performers.

Sheens has a wealth of experience of coaching Rugby League at the highest level and has been coach of the Kangaroos since 2009. He has coached Penrith Panthers, Canberra Raiders, North Queensland Cowboys and Wests Tigers during a stellar career, winning the 2005 Premiership with the Tigers.

Corvo has recently been appointed as Head Conditioner for Brisbane Broncos having spent 12 successful years with Melbourne Storm.

Each of the coaches will give a short presentation, followed by a question and answer session. You will be able to submit your questions online before the session for consideration.

Excellent and what a coup for the mancunians, how is your club and rugby league in Manchester progressing of late? Any plans or developments for new amateur, junior sides and schools in and around the Manchester area?

Thank you, we've been working on this for about two years!

We're currently coaching in 5 schools in Manchester, we've never coached in any of them before and all have come on board as a result of the Kangaroos staying in Manchester.

It's proper 'legacy' activity. We're holding a Year 10 Boys tournament tomorrow (Monday) where all of the schools will attend. This will be the largest ever schools Rugby League tournament to be held in Manchester and it wouldn't have happened without the World Cup or the Kangaroos being in town.

The plan is for the 5 schools involved to play each other regularly over the next few months and form a schools league and the players who want to, can come and play for our new junior team next spring.
