I can't see anything but a NZ dominance.  Especially given the Samoans complete annihilation by the England Knights.  They have a point to prove and will be a lot more competitive, but NZ won't be seriously troubled

Can't see anything but a Kiwi win.

NZ to steamroll Samoa. The NZ pack looks the best in the competition to me and it's going to be very difficult for the lesser teams to stop them getting down the pitch.

The NZ squad arguably looks the best on paper . Every time you pick a 17 you're re-doing it to get someone else in ! The only area they are slightly less strong is centre , but when SBW is back they may well play Mannering there , who to me is an awesome player and leader . And as for Sam Kasiano , what a beast ! Their pack must be among the best ever

Kiwis but some epic biff. Hopefully there'll be a weak referee and he'll just let them geton with it.

Samoa have some world-class players, but their team as a whole won't be good enough to threaten the champs, I think.

There will without any doubt be the two biggest teams on show, should Samoa play to their undoubted potential they could go well, cause an upset, I doubt that as, if NZ have all the top boy's on parade they will be to much for probably any team to handle, let alone Samoa.

Kiwis win here you would say by at leaste 30 plus but dependant on samoas attitude, anyhow be brilliant to see a full house at this game

Kiwis by 50 - if England Knights can put them past them, then a full strength kiwi side could rack up a cricket score.

Who to combine in the centres for the Kiwis ?  Seems to be a surplus of centres SBW, Glenn, Inu , Whare , Goodwin,  Mannering .....options for Africa there for Kearney.

So i'm picking SBW and Mannering combine as second rowers due to the oversupply of centres.

Wing conundrum ?  Dally M medal winner Tuivasa Shek, Vatuvei, Nightingale are the options.

Who would you leave out?

Fullback ? Nightingale, Hoffman ,Locke , Whare?

Props? Waerea Hargraves, Matulino, Bromwich, Kasiano, Moa. Who do you leave out ?

Play two and two on the bench but someone still misses out.

Nuuausala and Leuleuai reserves.

So best guess for the Kiwi team to play Samoa ?

  1. Hoffman
  2. Nightingale
  3. Inu
  4. Whare
  5. Vatuvei
  6. Foran
  7. Johnson
  8. Bromwich
  9. Luke
  10. Waerea Hargraves
  11. Mannering
  12. SBW
  13. Eastwood
  14. Moa
  15. Nuuausala
  16. Kasiano
  17. Leuleuai /  Locke ( think leuleuai would be better as he covers more positions but he's having hammy problems and not training)

Unlucky not to be picked Matulino, Tuivasa Shek,  Pritchard, Glenn...

Plenty of games for everyone to get a run though

That's why NZ are the squad for me .... They're a ' who do you leave out ' squad , where everyone else is ' who do you put in '.

Really? What's he paying?

I expect a dominant NZ win. NZ to storm to a strong lead and let in Samoan tries occasionally throughout the rest of the game. Milford has to be most likely to finish the tournament as Samoan's top try scorer. Just not sure about him scoring first in this game, but good luck, I hope you're right.

EDIT: This game starts at 5am here. I usually wake up at 5:45 to get ready for work, so i'll get up at 5 and watch the first half. Watch the second half when I get home. Won't be easy avoiding this and other boards throughout the tournament watching a lot of games off recordings. But I promise not to do a "deluded pom".

A good old fashioned RL sellout. Lots of empty seats...

Hope they fill up as the game goes on.

Looks fine to me! Looks 95% full.

Can't believe we had PNG-France and now NZ-Samoa! Hope this is as good as the last!
