Sorry, another boring observation but the fans behind those sticks look miles away from the action.

Super human effort for the try by Matty. Sad to see the Tongan go off injured.

Danny Addy has shown some nice footwork so far which has made the Tonga defence look pretty ordinary at times.

This is a superb game. I really like the way Scotland are going about their business.

There is a speedway track around Derwent Park. The Town End terrace is a fair distance from the pitch,,the Derwent End behind the Tonga goal is a grass bank

Perhaps your right Chris but they haven't cracked yet! They seem to be playing their own game, unlike Ireland.

This ref is a moron. Blowing his whistle too often and shouting too much. What the hell is wrong with him?

Yep, could be an upset on the table. I think Tonga will score once or twice before the half time break and the second half will be a one-sided affair. Who knows though

Scotland's little guys are causing the bigger Tongans lots of trouble.

Pfeeeeep, went Shayne Hayne's whistle. Scotland score and it's well-deserved. Hayne seems to want the game to be played far faster than it's ever likely to be, hence all the penalties.

Fisher did well following his own kick for that.

And well deserved. If you get the spine right, you can go a long way. Brilliant mixing and matching when the Jocks have the ball. Backed up by great kicking. Epic effort so far.

Fish didn't touch that ball at all, from what I could see.

This ref is grating on me something serious.

Tonga look dreadful, they seem to have turned up thinking the can just bash through them. Whereas Scotland look very well organised.
