http://www.bbc.co.uk/tv/guide/bbc/london/20131117

Hope everyone who's attending gets their tickets before they notice this!!!!

So it does! This is very promising indeed! See also here. :)

I know this is pie in the sky, but it would be great if the RL peaked higher than the RU, with people flicking between the two and settling for a bone crunching end to end game of rugby as opposed to a maul fest, but guessing all 1 billion Welsh people will be watching BBC1

It's Scotland vs the 'bokies, not a game that exactly gets the pulse racing so we could be in with a chance.

I noticed this on the Virgin TV guide yesterday.

I think this was just a placeholder until they knew when England would be playing and haven't updated yet.

Hopefully I'm wrong though

As long as on BBC1 before the RU they announce - "Over on BBC2 now, World Cup Rugby. Here on BBC1." - because I can guarantee they'll advertise the RU before the RL on BBC2.

Oh yeah I was looking at Sat, but still aren't there 500,000 Scottish who play RU and 3 billion will tune in according to the RFU. We've no chance.

I read somewhere on another forum that BBC had an option for 9 games. I know we have no chance against NZ but would be good if they showed the game on BBC Scotland at least.

All I could see was World Cup quarter final, 14:30-17:00 BBC Radio 5 live sports extra.

For the groups at least, Premier had exclusive rights to Australia and NZ games, with the BBC having the option for any other game. Not sure about the QFs

The SAMOA v FIJI 1/f Final game is only on PREMIER TV - BBC have not updated their schedule, and the Sunday p.m. slot was only left in, as a safeguard in case their in case England were due to play in the last Quarter Final. The England v France game is on BBC 2 on Saturday night. Let's get to the DW and sell it out! C'mon on England!

In the Radio Times, the RWC is listed in an either/or schedule, with a film also listed "if the BBC does not show the Rugby".

Hmm.

I know - the "World Cup on the BBC" page and TV schedules are a little out of synch.

There was even supposed to be an extra highlights programme today, but it seems like it's just a repeat of last night's one.

That actually makes sense, as there wouldn't be any new matches to cover since then.

Maybe they have decided to show both because of the brilliant viewing figures they are getting.
