Prepare for the away days

3 posts in this topic

So, Sheffield away to start and at home to finish the new league season, in what we hope will be more than one season in the Championship.

The proposed new league format for 2015 providing for 5 clubs to be relegated at the end of 2014 should be our motivation!

A tall order though, especially with 6 away matches from 25 May until 29 June and the next home game v Fev on 6 July!

We shall have to make count the 7 home games from the first 11 fixtures, especially the 3 consecutive ones in May.

At least, no London game.

Hopefully Sheffield will have somewhere to play next season.

OOOOOOOOPS just seen this.

The fixture against the 2013 grand final winners at the Eagles 'new' home, Owlerton Stadium, on Sunday February 16 is a repeat of their first ever game as a professional club, which was also played at Owlerton back in September 1984 when the Eagles won 29-10.

Hopefully the new format will be sorted out before the kick -off.It seems to be very much up in the air though. If the Broncos dont get bailed out they might have to go down a league.Or fold completely.SL 2 and the 3 eights.

I cant get my head round that.
