Hunslet 20 - 16 Leeds.

My word.

Leeds have taken the "waiting for the play offs" card to a whole new level this year.

Fair result,Leeds had some first team players playing in the forwards but most of the backline were from the u19's,lads who have just stepped up to that level. The better team won.

Thought you might have blamed Tom Briscoe.

He can't get in the team :onthequiet:

Did Leeds lend him to Hunslet on a one game agreement?

Paul Prescot's testimonial game at Workington (v Wigan) was called off because of a waterlogged pitch.

.....by Shaun Wane before the ref had even carried out a pitch inspection ! Probably the right call though. Think they're looking to re-arrange it for Tuesday night as Wigan are playing in Roby's testimonial next weekend.

Surely that can't be right?

We really must see the incriminating photos Bailey has of Mr Crashley.

(Allegedly of course!)

I'm sure the fact that Wane called the game off is correct but I was talking more about the ethics of it.

Saints vs Wigan in the James Roby Testimonial tonight at LP; sounds like plenty there...

http://www.wishfm.net/on-air/

C'Mon Saints!!! ;)

Note 1: Walsh's first touch of the ball results in a quality kick into the Wigan half... first time I have heard that from Saints in about 4yrs!

Note 2: Three southern accents in the teams... Sarginson, LMS and Clubb!

######! 16-28 to Wigan, whose youngsters sounded very impressive in the last 20mins. Team to beat this season...

Two things concerned me from listening to that match: Saints sound as ill disciplined as they were last season (clearly a coaching issue) and Luke Walsh went off injured.  All the rest is meaningless as it was a friendly and there were loads of changes in the second half.

It wasn't one of those meaningless type friendlies and apart from Walsh nothing has changed from last year. We are still dreadful under Brown.

Leeds 62-10 London in Ryan Baileys testimonial.

Match Highlights: http://www.therhinos.co.uk/matchdaytv/?play=media&id=17462

Just watching those highlights, Leeds outside backs look very good. I know it's only a young London team but they will have some confidence going into the season. Watkins especially looked like no one could touch him. Ben Jones-Bishop scored a hattrick too. That leaves a selection headache over the right wing spot with who plays between him and Tom Briscoe.

The teams lined up as:

Leeds

1. Zak Hardaker

20. Tom Briscoe

3. Kallum Watkins

4. Joel Moon

5. Ryan Hall

6. Danny McGuire

13. Kevin Sinfield ©

10. Jamie Peacock

7. Rob Burrow

16. Ryan Bailey

15. Brett Delaney

12. Carl Ablett

23. Brad Singleton

9. Paul Aiton

8. Kylie Leuluai

19. Mitch Achurch

2. Ben Jones-Bishop

18. Chris Clarkson

21. Liam Sutcliffe

London

1. Nesiasi Mataitonga

23. Harvey Burnett

22. Will Lovell

3. Thomas Minns

27. Sean Morris

6. James Woodburn-Hall

7. Mike Bishay

14. James Greenwood

9. Scott Moore

15. Olsi Krasniqi

11. Mike McMeeken

12. Matt Cook ©

13. Alex Foster

10. Erjon Dollapi

8. George Griffin

16. James Cunningham

18. Toby Everett

19. Joel Wicks
