I'm loving the Sky coverage tonight. The touchscreen brining a hint of Monday Night Football with Jon Wells and Brian Carney. The extended Mark Webber interview sent shivers down the spine. Bring on the match, can't wait!

Good build up so far.

Anyone noticed the Start menu on the touchscreen? You'd have thought it'd run on better than Windows 2000! Still waiting for this to pop up:

Why are they not having the sound from the vr?

It worked very well last year.

I like the additionof the graphic lines, have said for years they should do this.

Lot of messing fromWigan. They look slightly off the pace early on.

Interesting that the VR announces the reason to the crowd.

Sarginson has looked sharp.

Thought that was Premier/Beeb. Didn't think Sky had ever used it

no Sky havent done it but its been done for over 50 games now and works well. Not sure why they are not doing it.

Sky usually like to put there own spin on things. Eddie hailed this as something "brand new" so maybe they left it out for that reason. Wouldn't be surprised if it sneaked in later in the season.

Hudds looking good at the moment, Wigan not properly in this yet.

They followed Premiers use of thr ref cam iirc.

Normally most of the talking is the ref to the video controller so I suppose the new system has by passed it. Don't see why the video ref can't comment on what he's looking at though. "First thing I'll look at is the offside, that seems fine,so I'll check the grounding".
