Neither article states the size of the problem, the degree  and range of disability etc.

 

'On the face of it the risk is not great - a 4% risk of having a child with an abnormality if you marry a cousin, compared with 2% among the general population. But with repeated cousin marriage, the risks stack up in families with sometimes devastating results.'

 

The survey has been continuing in Bradford for seven years. What arew (or are not) the 'devastating results'?

The figures are there, but not being released. Which is the point I am raising.

1985 Bradford was meant to be one of the most safest area's in England ?

Grossly off-topic posts removed.  Come on, does every thread about subjects like this have to descend into generalised "oh and here's something else I don't like about these people" type posts.

 

You lot MUST know by now the line that we've drawn on subjects like this and how low our tolerance is for going beyond it.
