Stuart Cummings recruited by the ECB

The England & Wales Cricket Board has recruited Stuart Cummings, a former Super League referee who recently stepped down from his position in charge of the Rugby Football League's match officials department, to work with its umpiring panel this summer.

This is the most important bit.  Proof positive about to which county Wire fans should pledge allegiance:

 

 

 

he also has solid cricketing credentials, having played for two seasons as Cheshire's wicketkeeper in 1986-87 when he was working as a schoolteacher in Warrington

In 2010 Stuart Cummings wasn't elected to the ECB

In 2011 Stuart Cummings wasn't elected to the ECB

In 2012 Stuart Cummings wasn't elected to the ECB

In 2013 Stuart Cummings wasn't elected to the ECB

 

In 2014 Stuart Cummings WAS elected to the ECB
