Liverpool Soccer club Make £50 mill annual loss

Recommended Posts

Thats a lot for one club. The question remains for me is why do the banks let soccer clubs rack up that sort of debt?

The banks see incomes of the main clubs rising massively year by year so are willing to lend....What they are not taking into account is this rise is swallowed by ever increasing wages and transfer fees when competing with billionaires and a couple of Spanish sides who the banks are even willing to be even more reckless with than our clubs (Google real Madrid debt for example).
