Well done sir, great effort from the Fev underdogs pushing the favourites Doncaster so close. Lets take this performance into the Swinton game at home now next week. #proud

I hope all this doesn't fall flat In our faces. Fev Rovers have made great strides over the last 4 years but it looks like we have taken a step backwards.

I am no coach so I can only comment as a supporter but from what I have seen this team is not as good as what we have had over the last few years We replaced a coach with one who is not experienced at first team level and likes to rotate the players which clearly doesn't work at Championship level. At S/L the players are together all week so I can see it working at this level there not and where was Cording today he comes from the team that won S/L last year but doesn't get in at Fev that cannot be right We win the league 4 years on trot and this year when it really matters we don't have a settled team to do it I am keeping my opinion to my self regarding JB it's up to the BOD to sort that but he has 400k salary cap this year he has excellent training facilities and a big squad but we are going to clubs and cannot get a win he needs to sort it quick we need the 500K and if we don't we can forget S/L for along time

Don't no old rover prob someone with a bit more experience any ideas

Could have the coaches on a rotation system. I don't like change but give the lad a chance. Even with no coach the lads are better than they were today.

We were told there were loads of coaches that applied The thing is when JB was appointed the club didn't know how important winning the league was financially In a few year he may or may not be a very good coach but we haven't got time to wait I personably think a settled team with your best 17 out would help I don't think rotation works at this level although it is only a few players that he leaves out from time to time so maybe that's not the issue here

It was rotation on the field that baffled me, we seemed to have the game under control until the last round of interchanges. I don't know whether the substitution of Tim Spears had anything to do with it, but the discipline and decision making went to pot? Far too many daft penalties were conceded in the last 10 minutes.

I think we should advertise the position of "coach" on here and on the Facebook page, because from what I'm reading there will be a lot of applicants...........rant over!!!

Maureen what do you think isn't quite right at the moment on the field and can we afford to lose anymore

Ok how many chances do we give him ??

Darryl Powell lost 4 times in his first 9 matches with Fev. These games included a hammering at home by Whitehaven and Warrington and away at Barrow, with a narrowish defeat at home, in front of the cameras v Halifax. Similar voices were calling for his head at this stage especially after the Whitehaven game, where if you thought they were bad today, uou'd have shot em that day. I don't necessarily like the the fact that Powell or even Long isn't coach anymore but this bloke deserves at least a chance of half a season.

We've had two narrow defeats and a few players with the ###### on. If we finish out of the top 5 it just shows that we don't have a devine right to finish there.

That said, I can't be hypocritical, I do think we have taken a step backwards, but other teams have improved also.

Don't forget we have lost to Dewsbury (who got thrashed today) and Donny. On this form how the heck can we compete away at Halifax, Sheffield and Leigh? A quick turn around of form ot we are up for a hard time.

I wish I knew JT, there does seem to be a problem somewhere along the line. Maybe the players are not gelling, maybe there's unrest, who knows, we can speculate forever and a day but not get it right

Paul Cooke was brilliant for Donny today and took the ###### out of us, just like he did twice last season, he ran the show. We do not have a Devine right to win, some folk think we are the Man Utd of rugby league, money doesn't always breed success

The one and only difference between two well matched sides was what we don't seem to have and that is a playmaker. Paul Cooke did us at Post Office Road last season and today also controlled the

game from start to finish.

Doncaster have an enthusiastic bunch of players who are playing to a very good tacticians

promptings. We certainly didn't give them enough respect and allowed Cooke to dictate as he saw fit.

Very disappointing end result today but I fear there are more to come.

We tried to start the game today where we left off against Rochdale, we spent the whole first half using the wingers to drive the ball in instead of the forwards. The second half we got the forwards going and spent 90% of the second on top.

I am no Bastion basher and he deserves a real chance to get it right, but the first half today smacked of a poor game plan to me.
