Workshy benefit scroungers

I was made redundant last year fortunately I managed to find a decent job after 5 months but the period being out of work was a real eye opener. The whole employment game is now set around agencies and zero hour contracts paying the absolute minimum wage. The story doesn't suprise me at all in Hull they reckon there are at least 80 people on average chasing every advertised job.

I feel bad for anyone looking for work atm, especially when they're desperate enough to chase every job out there, including zero hours. I was out of work for 18 months after leaving uni and it was the worst time of my life. I just kept applying for every job under the sun, including cleaning and stacking shelves, but got nowhere. Spent most of my time working for free and volunteering just to boost my cv. Thankfully I managed to find employment, but I'm not looking forward to have to find jobs again when it ends.
