North Wales Crusaders "on the road"

3 posts in this topic

As you'll be aware North Wales Crusaders fixture against Swinton on 8th June is NOT being played at the Glyndwr Racecourse Stadium due to stadium and pitch redevelopment. The game takes place at Cefn Druids FC.  Here is some further information from the NW Crusaders website:

It looks like an interesting little stadium in an interesting location. After watching the short video I can see why they call it The Rock . Pity the game is not taking place at your fantastic stadium at Wrexham. Really looking forward to our clash with Crusaders in June it should be a great game

The venue, 'the Rock', is in the village of Rhosymedre just south of Ruabon on the A483.

As it happens, I have a family link to the village due to my paternal grandmother (Elizabeth Griffiths) having been born there (1875). Sadly I never knew her as both she and my (pat.) grandfather died within months of each other way back in 1931.
