State of Origin II Who Do You Think will Win it?

9 posts in this topic

Hi Guys,

I am in Sydney so will post a few blow by Blow descriptions on the 18th June.

We have the mail that Josh Duggan will be fullback and Super Plane Hayne

will play at centre.

I do think NSW can close it out in this next game. :shout:

This is an exciting game in prospect. Whatever team Blues put out, QLD need to win it to keep the series alive and to save their blushes.

More injuries to prospective Origin players have happened in R13.

What with battered Origin 1 injured players out or in doubt for Origin 2 it will be extra interesting to see what tema they both put out.

Both Billy (Slater) and Greg (Inglis) have told the QLD selection bosses that they will be able to play - more than likely.

Billy started treatment straight after Origin 1 and  Inglis has said his injury isn't as bad as first feared.

Paul Kent:

AT first peek Queensland’s shocking injury toll looked little more than the usual game of smoke and mirrors and woe is me.

Poor Queensland.

Daly Cherry-Evans was so crippled he was a step away from claiming benefits. Billy Slater’s shoulder was so damaged he couldn’t lift a fork to his mouth. Greg Inglis was barely able to make it to training given the trouble they had getting his wheelchair on the bus. Cameron Smith was so exhausted they called him Sleeping Beauty.

Surely this guy would be labelled a troll on the internet?

He tempers his word a bit  as he goes on but still suggests QLD are exaggerating their injury problems with the exception of Corey Parker.

His real purpose is to urge NSW not to be lulled into thinking they'll be playing a QLD B team.

Will Chambers has dropped out of Queensland’s Origin squad with the Maroons centre remaining on the Gold Coast to play Monday’s battle with the Storm.

He'd been in camp with the Maroons as cover for both Billy Slater and Greg Inglis but they each trained strongly on Sunday morning.

With Slater and Inglis almost certain starters on Wednesday, the Maroons told Chambers he wasn't needed for the game.

I've seen different reports on DCE.
Some say he was walking freely, the latest though that he didn't train Monday morning so won't play.

Take your pick.

So Slater, Inglis and DCE are playing after all!

Was it just a ploy or are they risky selections?
