WELCOME
... to this early posting ...

This round kicks off on Friday 18th July.
There's a full set of eight games to tip this coming weekend.
Everyone reading this is welcome to enter this weekly competition which runs throughout the season.
New  or occasional entrants are welcome to join us.
Whether you've taken part before or you fancy having a go this week for the first time you're guaranteed a warm welcome.
Entries are allowed each week up until the kick off of the first game in the round

ROUND 19 QUESTIONS:
*Poll Competition:
Our regular poll comp looks at a different aspect each week. This week we're looking for the big scoring teams:
How many teams will score 30 or more points in R19?
- enter in the poll itself at the top and put your answer in your posting.

Now the main event of the week:

*Match tipping Competition:
Name the 8 (that's EIGHT) winning teams in NRL Round 19 2014

*Points Competition
How many points will be scored by all the teams added together in R19?
This is a competition in itself and will act as a tie breaker for the match tipping comp if necessary. This is used as the decider when necessary so do give it a go.

*Home Win Competition:
How many HOME wins will there be in NRL R19?
In rounds where the game is on the road and played at a neutral venue, the team named first in the fixture will be regarded as the home team for the purposes of this competition.

Fixtures:
Round192014NRLd_zpsb6e9c104.jpg

Animated awards will be given for the winner(s) of each competition question.
Match tipping scores are being added together as the season is progressing to produce a Tipsters' Ladder which is pinned to the top of the forum topic list page

The best of luck to everyone this week.
Enjoy your Rugby League! B)

We're missing Bourbon Rat.

Eels have started well on their own turf. Bunnies sticking in there though.

This round is the Rise for Alex Round.

The whole game in Oz is raising money and thinking of Alex this weekend.

How difficult is match tipping?

Many games are tricky to call and yet the results are often big margins. Today two Friday games at least one of which was difficult to call and yet they turn out to be comfortable wins in the end.

Close game after 30 min at Suncorp. Tomkins playing well again. Scored an early try.

Broncos back in it. Great try for Ben Hunt with conversion by Parker ties it up 5 mins before half time.

Warriors lost their way. Run out of steam! They have conceeded a try on half time. Is it lack of fitness or just poor concentration? Whatever, they have let a good lead slip into a four point deficit at half time.

Broncos held on to beat Warriors. They gave everything to earn it.

Haven't seen Roosters /Panthers game yet but it seems Chooks put in a much needed hard working performance to overcome the previously high flying Panthers.

Storm came out with a good win over a Raiders outfit which let too big a margin build up against them. The Green Machine had some good moves and always looked capable of scoring.

Good to see Sisa Waqa back in the team.

Broncos worked hard for their win over a Warriors team whose coach must be frustrated by the amount of errors that crept into their play as the game went on.

Ben Hunt had another great performance. It was good to see Dale Copley get himself a brace of tries.
