London Skolars 10, Hunslet 36

Entertaining game last night, and one we never looked like losing after going 24-0 up inside half-an-hour, with the team looking lively and keen to put last week's game behind them - though yet again, the second forty was a bit scratchy.

Moore seemed almost unstoppable in that first half, well supported by March, Watson, and Maun and Duffy down the left. The Coyles played 6 and 7 and did actually get into the pace and structure of the game, though they made their share of errors too. Actual result apart, the best news is that we didn't appear to pick up any further injuries.

Decent crowd of over 1,300 turned up at a rather, erm, eccentric "art-deco" venue (memories of the old "Corner Cafe" on Scarborough sea-front!!) with a good atmosphere and a decent turn-out of Hunslet fans: I also saw supporters from maybe ten other clubs at the match.

Well done to the Skolars on organising a good evening.

York always find a way to shoot themselves in the foot, the play offs could go any way,

The fact that we have lost 5 league games, with the squad we have, says it all about his abysmal coaching record. Full of excuses. He should have been sacked a long time ago.

Thought he looked very smart in his Rhino top tonight.

Think it would be bad to change the coach at this near play off stage of the season, but if we don't get promotion then we should , as he has had more than his fair share of chances with us.

Post on your own forum no one else is

Progman,

No wonder Lenin is asking Wasssup, with posts like this your forum wil end up like ours, you'll be talking to yourself soon, these forums used to be really good with debate and some banter.
