PaulTFev Posted August 24, 2015 Share Posted August 24, 2015 Following a fantastic effort by Featherstone Rovers on Sunday to secure two points in the Kingstone Press Championship Shield at the Zebra Claims Stadium, home of Workington Town RLFC, the club is now gearing up for the visit of Batley Bulldogs on Bank Holiday Monday ( 31st August KO 3pm). It promises to be an action packed afternoon against our West Yorkshire neighbours and victory would secure Featherstone Rovers a home semi-final tie in the Shield later in September. It is also our Family Fun Day with plenty of activities for all the family including bouncy castles, tombola, face painting and for the older ones it’s only £2 a pint between 1pm-2pm. For all our Kingstone Press Championship Shield fixtures at the Big Fella’s Stadium entrance is only £10 adults/ concessions and Under 16s are absolutely FREE which means it’s an affordable afternoon out for all the family! The game is being sponsored by Pukka Pies and we are offering places in the 1921 Suite for just a £10 upgrade per person on your admission.
