Useful information for tomorrows game

Recommended Posts

Ahead of tomorrows pre-season friendly with dual-reg partners Warrington Wolves, we have put together some useful information for fans travelling over to the Manchester Regional Arena.

With Tony Smith naming a strong side, including the likes of England Internationals Darryl Clarke and Joe Westerman, and Scottish International Full back Matty Russell we expect a bumper crowd over at the arena to see the Wolves in action ahead of their upcoming Super League season. Sticking with the international flavour, Hornets fans are delighted to welcome back Irish international Danny Bridge on loan, who makes his return to Alan Kilshaws squad for the game tomorrow afternoon.

Before this though, Host’s for the day Manchester Rangers take on Rochdale Mayfield A team in a curtain raiser. Rangers were keen to capitalise on this historic event, and have worked hard to arrange a fixture as a curtain raiser to the first professional rugby league game ever to be played at the Arena. Coincidentally, it was Rochdale Mayfield's A team that took the opportunity to join their towns professional outfit in what is shaping up to be a fantastic day of Rugby League over in Manchester.

The curtain raiser kicks off at 1pm and fans are reminded that the reduced price of £13 for adults, £10 for concession, and £2 for juniors provides access to see both games. Turn styles will be open from 12.30.

For anybody driving to the Arena tomorrow- car parking for the venue is free, and is situated just off Alan Turing Way, signposted as the Blue Car Park. Please note that the car park immediately in front of the Manchester Regional Arena will be out of use for the day, and that fans will be redirected to the Blue Car Park. The correct postcode for the Blue car park is M11 3DU.

The Arena is well serviced by the Metrolink, providing easy access to the Etihad campus direct from Manchester City Centre. For more information you can visit

Refreshments are available inside the arena. Tea, Coffee and alcoholic beverages will be available to purchase, as well as hot food and snacks.
