Do you want to change his anatomy to remove his elbows? Or make him carry the ball around his waist? Seems unfair to punish him for someone else's poor tackling technique.

Hahaha the old poor tackling excuse, never gets old.

Your kidding right?

Read other people's posts.

Perhaps they're kidding as well and just you and Saints 1 are being serious.

I agree with you. I watched Alex often and he is not a player who is malicious or has any disciplinary issues.

It was nothing like the Hull sending off - posters are forgetting the damage done to the Wigan player's face on that occasion.

Seriously!

McIllorum got his head on the wrong side while trying to king hit Watts from the side.

I honestly can't see Salford finishing with 12 men. They had properly lost it that last 10 minutes.

Salford reached their first semi final in 19 years this year.  I didn't go because James Child was the referee.  This guy is simply the worst referee in the competition.  He has no place on a rugby field.

charge down surely? Then 2 pens on the bounce

Absolute vintage Child, you seem the same pattern in so many of the games he referees. He makes a mistake then proceeds to hammer the team on the receiving end. Just surprised the team warning took another five minutes to arrive.

8-1 penalty count to saints in that 1st half, thats how a referee destroys a game.

Certainly trying to one-up Scott Grix in the lets get Saints into the semis plot.

So we should reward poor tackle technique and people getting their heads in the wrong places?

Deary me give your head a shake.  There's blinkered and then there's your post which is bordering on blindfolded.

Your not allowed to lead with the elbow.  Walne has not got his head in the wrong position and hit his hip or some other point.  He's been struck with a leading elbow.
