I wanted to win yesterday but also wasnt bothered about the club and lads stretching themselves to make another fruitless trip over the channel.

We went smart enough and Jack Smith needs another pea in his whistle but if that was Rowe and Ains last game at mount they certainly entertained.

That said, Ian Preece was only 26 or so when he retired (at the top of his game, too).
