Whoever steps into Mr Woods seat their first decision should be appoint somebody who has contacts with management at Amazon. They appear to be one of the leaders on the media circuit, are looking to broaden their sports content. We need someone who can pitch all the positives about RL, a dynamic game, visually stunning, THE most physically demanding sport, gentlemen off the field, played all over the world, a growing ladies game, a successful world cup.and all at the fraction of the price of football. Whats not to like. Just don`t mention the moaning  supporters.

Amazon and Netflix should definitely be targeted. The only problem i see is content. We'd have to create new content for any new broadcaster as currently everything is pretty sewn up. Which is not a reason to not approach their like, we'd just need something new to approach with.

We do, we also have about 3.5 games a week that could be shown.

But when, and how. Plenty within the game dont seem to be very amenable to adjusting to what a content provider wants, nor building an attractive package form.

We dont create much if any secondary and complementary content, and we seem unwilling to change and adjust in terms of the live content. Currently we dont actually have anything to offer them.

Correct, and it would take about 30 minutes for them to earn the money they would need to cover it for 12 months

In all honesty, do we really think Amazon or Netflix would be interested in showing lower league RL?

For SL we'd have to re-negotiate with SKY, or we re-negotiate with the BBC for use of highlights. Or it's new content.

maybe it's making the OurLeague app available on the Amazon fire stick/TV.

maybe it could be some form of documentary, spread over the course of the play-offs, for instance, and following each of the clubs as they all fight it out for the GF.

Either way, these type of streaming platforms should be approached and opportunities explored.

With the coverage amazon could offer some club bosses would be terrified their attendances would reduce to a few dozen people.

And will there be after they leave? Nobody else is going pay anything close to the current deal for RL.
