Fantastic, I love these local tournaments, the more the merrier. It gives people pride in their where they come from.In Oldham we have the standard cup comprising amateur clubs from Oldham and unfortunately one from Rochdale (Rochdale Mayfield). I hope all goes well with the cup,it'll be great for rugby league in your area.

Dearne Valley guesting in Doncaster?

What happened to the SWYARLA Cup? Died of death?

There will be a Steel City Derby this year with the reformed Forgers taking on the Hawks!

If we are going to look into the past, all the teams in and around Chesterfield, Sheffield, Scunthorpe, Selby, Rotherham, Barnsley, Doncaster including Upton where in the Doncaster and district, 26 teams once contested the Donny Cup.

It’s just Bentley Arlfc these days. Has been since the pub closed.

Glad this has been reformed and hope it’s a success.

We haven't played yet, the league fixtures and other cups have pushed us all a bit further into the year than we all thought, Toll Bar are playing their last game this week and then we've got a couple of bachelor weekends, I'm not sure about Dearne Valley, they played us in the Selby cup final at the weekend at Post Office Road, to be truthful it's looing like this cup will be more of a pre-season competition now.
