Plastic or Grass

Recommended Posts

As I have only trained on a plastic pitch I personally prefer a grass pitch

As I missed the friendly I don't know whether a hard pitch will suit us but it must be worth a 12 point start on the other team

I'd be grass fan but the surface down at Whitebank is  amazing. Admittedly I just walked up and down the touchline but it's like a carpet.

The whole experience of the revamped ground was really good to be honest.

It'll be a new experience for us all,the players included. At least the surface can't be like a mudbath. I'm looking forward to it.It's something to look forward to and something different.

I used to like the mud bath because it slowed folk down to my speed but pitches like the Avro one are brilliant and can be used every day of the week. The Keighley game was played at a really good pace and i hope that's a sign of things to come.

6 hours ago, Little no it all said:

Oldham have no choice they play were ever they can afford so debate should be pay or no pay

I'd say pay. The fence down Whitebank Road is a bit too high to climb over and there are stewards all over the place.   It's only 14 quid anyway and you get to watch your home town team on a modern fast surface.
