7:47pm (AEDT): The Titans give themselves a glimmer of hope as youngster Tyronne Roberts-Davis presses his claims for a first-grade spot in Rd 1, nabbing his second try of the game. Conversion is no good. 20-14 to the Warriors

7:46pm (AEDT): Chad Townsend and Val Holmes combine as the Sharks score another try. Townsend holds the ball up just enough and Holmes slides through the gap. Conversion is no good. 20-0 Sharks at half-time.

7:44pm (AEDT): It's the James Tedesco show in this last 5 minutes. This time, he chips and chases for himself and regathers the ball to score.

7:43pm (AEDT): The Dogs also extend their lead at Belmore Sportsground as Nu Brown scores his first try in Bulldogs colours. Conversion is good. Dogs lead 16-6.

Nightingale blows a try by putting his hand on the sideline. He got the first 99% right.

7:57pm (AEDT): A well-placed kick by the Bulldogs sees a second try for Josh Bergamin. Conversion attempt by Kerrod Holland bounces off the post and misses. Bulldogs lead 24-6 with nine minutes remaining.

7:54pm (AEDT): Another update from Chris Kennedy at the Belmore Sportsground:

Currently 20-6 to Dogs. Penrith are not helping themselves at all, way too many errors and penalties. Dogs are almost entirely reserve graders but some rookies like Lachlan Lewis and Jayden Okunbor are playing really well.

Then the Bunnies went the length for a try. Great 50m break by Damien Cook creates a try for Crichton.

I enjoyed this years Charity Shield , Needs to be far more games taken to the bush every season, areas like Dubbo , Orange , West Wyalong & Tamworth should be getting regular games.

On the game itself I'm happy with the result & like the style of play Seibold is implementing but the highlight for me was that 61st minute tackle where Jack De belin smashed "Silent G" it was just great to see & with any luck he'll get belted like that for the next 26 rounds.
