Since you're last visit to Wrexham, we have moved across town to the Queensway athletics stadium, and since there is not a lot of information out there about the venue, I thought I'd post a brief description so you know what to expect.

The ground is part of the Queensway sports centre and is a purpose built athletics venue, which the club has adapted for rugby use. There are no pubs near the ground and there is no clubhouse, although we do have a bar set up inside the ground along with the usual burgers and soft drinks, and for any hungry fans arriving early there is a very good Diner next to the ground.

There are two stands with just over 800 seats in total. The long stand, which is the family stand, runs parallel to the pitch and seats about 560. The Wrexham Lager stand, for general supporters, also houses the players dressing rooms and seats about 250. While the stands are set away from the pitch, they offer a very good view. There is also a grass bank on the other side of the ground with a decent view of the pitch.

Here's a few pics of the ground, taken before the our 3rd round game against Keighley. Look forward to seeing you next week, and hope you enjoy your visit.

I forgot to mention disabled access, thanks to Feverley Hills 90210 for asking.

A row of seats has been removed from the first block in the family stand for wheelchair users, with a long ramp for access. Toilets are under the Wrexham Lager stand.

Hi Featherstone fans,

Fearnowt has given you some great info about our home ground at Queensway (LL13 8UH); I'll just expand a little bit about the Club.

Why did we move to Queensway - the Racecourse was just too expensive and two years ago Crusaders found that our ex-CEO (yes him on Masterchef!) had massively overspent and lied to the Board of Directors or worse actually used fraudulent documents. Since then we've been paying back the debt he caused - so we've had to readjust our outgoings.

Moving to Queensway has meant that everything apart from the catering is now run by North Wales Crusaders fans - all the people you won't see - putting out pitch markings, post protectors, setting up gazebos, getting teh bars set up are all Crusaders fans.

All the people you will see - the turnstile crew, the programme sellers, the merchandise sellers, the draw ticket sellers, the bar staff, the scoreboard operator, the timekeeper - all Crusaders fans

And after the game there are fans who pack everything away again.

All those fans also pay the matchday price of entry too.

So take time to chat to our volunteers, give them a pat on the back and think how much they've contributed to your enjoyment.

Have a safe trip on Sunday - we are really excited that Featherstone are visiting and looking forward to seeing you all.
